This song is for my Hubby and all my friends, fellow bloggers, and Family. - this is for everyone- we are all fireworks!
This may be a secular song but it holds a great message. Through this song I am reminded a few things that I know to be truth I wanted to share and encourage through this post.
There are similarities between what this singer sings about and the truths the bible hold about our value through Jesus. It brought the truths to mind about the power God put in all of us, our value, and power to overcome all things- though Jesus. Life isn't easy, as we all know... but we all are made unique and have a mission, a calling, and pushing through the storm and to get to the rainbow on the other side shows strength, and perseverance even when we feel like giving up. Our worth is much greater to our Creator than we can possibly imagine. We were made in the likeness of God, how awesome is that, we are a children of God made in his image! Even when one feels broken, useless, we are useful to our God, it says in 2Corinthians 12:9 "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. " We are all usable, teachable, and greatly loved. I believe it's through our brokenness (if we allow him too)Jesus works best, because he seeps out of the cracks within us to pour hope and love into someone else. Can I get an AMEN!!!
I encourage you (and this is for myself as well) to get in the Word of God, get schooled on how valuable your worth is, and let him lead you to great things. Ignite the light inside and let your colors burst for Jesus, he's the way, the truth, the life/light, and not only can we can do all things through him but he has a plan for each and everyone of us!!!
1 John 5:4
For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.
So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.
Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
