*Sprouts* Part 2

The term seek is defined by Wiktionary :To try to find, to look for, to search, To try to acquire or gain; to strive after; to aim at. Matthew 6:33 (Amplified Bible) 33But seek ([a]aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness ([b]His way of doing and being right), and then all these things [c]taken together will be given you besides.

God's word is powerful, full of truth, promise, healing, revelation, redemption, love, strength, hope, faith, wisdom, joy, perseverance, dedication, correction, it is the go-to guide to living this life! I have experienced a few but major victories lately that have produced a domino effect of unveiling revelation which I am most proud of and eager to nurture. What is so awesome is that in the midst of great change since January, I am humbled and amazed at the work of my Savior in many areas of my life and my family as a whole.

During "the storm" the struggles I needed to lay at the feet of my Savior I looked at as my burden to carry, wondering where I would divulge the strength to fight these battles from deep within; and the whole time I had it wrong. I spent so much time resisting some much needed change due to my reluctance to go to the source, and draw strength from my Shepard. It's a matter of reaching down in my spirit and pulling out the teaching I had already received, and exercise my faith in the matters I had trouble with. A literal turn around in my 'stinkin thinkin' was needed.

What He says in, Matthew 11:30 For My yoke is wholesome (useful, [a]good--not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne, is truth shedding light and redirecting my attention to what HE says about the battles we face! I rejoice for I have found time and again, he is my stronghold, and I am not alone! All along he has been saying, "Naomi, it is not ALL YOURS to carry. You already have the Victory, just SEEK, walk and rest in me." What I thought was going to be too hard, has been A lot easier than I expected. The other translation I like is found in the message:

Matthew 11:30 (The Message) 28-30"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

So I made choices to DO and stop talking about doing I put aside my fear and found strength in Him to lay down the hindrance which played out as a distraction. What I thought to be too big a mountain to climb, MY Redeemer has shown me through his word, living with and for him is light and easy.

My newly planted container garden is a visual representation of God's new work in me. The seeds planted just a month ago have sprouted and have roots that are growing strong each day as I water, and nurture their growth. See it is a representation that IT is not just because I am doing my part, yes I have planted some seeds, water them, but the source of their growth comes from the SUN, without it, it doesn't matter how much watering, pruning I did they would not grow! Same goes for the seeds planted in my spiritual garden of personal growth/refinement, I am doing what I know to do as I seek my Source and through my Creator/SUN I grow into the person he created me to be. AMEN!!!! Now, don't get me wrong, just as you prune plants for weeds, try to keep away pests from hindering the plant, I must be aware of the same obstacles that will come try to stunt my progress for my new roots are tender just as the sprouts you see in the pictures below.

I am richly blessed by the everlasting, gracious, abounding love the Lord is showering on my family and I. This new spring season I embrace whole heartedly because His word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path Psalm 119: 105. He renews my mind, and is directing my steps. I am thankful and full of Praise for I am moving forward.

below my blackberry vine grows strong:

below the tomato plant we bought at the store had 2 tiny plumps on it now its 4:

We got 2 tiny bell pepper plants now getting taller by the week:

These are my squash zucchini which I am amazed, we got a set of 4 which has gone crazy lately:

I have strawberries that seem to be dormant still but hey I still giving them a chance. My blueberry plant is also flowering. I am so happy we started this garden. I really sometimes go outside just to look at them. haha. I love how my children are active in watering, and caring for them. They are amazed at the tomatoes that are growing fatter by the week.

I am praying this scripture which I love in both translations over myself, friends, and family: Philippians 1:9 (The Message) 9-11So this is my prayer: that your love will flourish and that you will not only love much but well. Learn to love appropriately. You need to use your head and test your feelings so that your love is sincere and intelligent, not sentimental gush. Live a lover's life, circumspect and exemplary, a life Jesus will be proud of: bountiful in fruits from the soul, making Jesus Christ attractive to all, getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 1:9 (Amplified Bible) 9And this I pray: that your love may abound yet more and more and extend to its fullest development in knowledge and all keen insight [that your love may [a]display itself in greater depth of acquaintance and more comprehensive discernment]

Nothing is too big or too hard for God, OUR CREATOR to handle, he waits patiently for us to choose him, For with him All things are possible. AND through him we will find it is light and easy rather than taking on lifes burdens or personal struggles all by yourself. He remains the same day after day full of Grace, who IS Love. What or who is greater than He? NO one, Nothing.

Thanking God for ALL Great things in my Life!

Naomi
